Therapy bans and the claimed ‘hostile environment’
A Joint Statement from Core Issues Trust and The International Federation for Therapeutic and Counselling Choice. We live in a world of diverse ideologies and cultural practices. Banning and criminalising will not eliminate poor therapy. We call on the Government to ensure that in future its LGBT advisors are representative of different ideological, religious, non-religious and cultural perspectives rather than becoming a monoculture that leads to dogma and viewpoint discrimination.

Whatever “gay conversion therapy” is, banning it won’t change Christian sexual ethics
Former Christian Legal Centre client and Director of the Core Issues Trust, Dr Mike Davidson, comments on the news that Malta has banned ‘gay conversion therapy’. Under the new law, anyone who tries to “change, repress or eliminate a person’s sexual orientation, gender identity and/or gender expression” will be fined or even jailed.

Joseph Nicolosi, Father of “Reparative Therapy” for Homosexuality, Dies Suddenly. Joseph Nicolosi was one of the founders of the National Association for Research and Therapy of Homosexuality (NARTH), which was later re-named the Alliance for Therapeutic Choice and Scientific Integrity, and the father of “reparative therapy” for men—a particular branch of the larger movement to provide assistance in seeking change to those who experience unwanted same-sex attractions.
Gender is an objective fact, not some batty whim
