Statement on the Ban Conversion Therapy in Northern Ireland Coalition

Core Issues Trust urges the Stormont Assembly to recognise the flawed, and controversial basis of this motion and to consider the rights and freedoms of the former LGBT minority it targets. The motion is a fundamental denial of basic freedoms of speech, belief, conscience and association for all persons in Northern Ireland. An assembly that supports such a motion has lost sight of the people it serves.

IFTCC on ‘Conversion Therapy and You’

The IFTCC has announced a series of 6 episodes examining therapy bans in a range of countries. The series is led by Dr Mike Davidson (UK) and Dr Laura Haynes (US) and features participants from various countries across the world. Series 1 begins Thursday 15th April 2021 at 7.00 pm or 8.00 pm CEST

Obituary for Dr Joseph Nicolosi

Joseph Nicolosi, Father of “Reparative Therapy” for Homosexuality, Dies Suddenly. Joseph Nicolosi was one of the founders of the National Association for Research and Therapy of Homosexuality (NARTH), which was later re-named the Alliance for Therapeutic Choice and Scientific Integrity, and the father of “reparative therapy” for men—a particular branch of the larger movement to provide assistance in seeking change to those who experience unwanted same-sex attractions.

Letter to His Grace Justin Welby, Archbishop of Canterbury
