Bible not ‘prudish’ according to theologian

A theologian and writer on sexuality says that the Church must not shy away from talking about physical desires or sexuality. 

Dr Christopher West, one of the world's leading authority on Pope John Paul II's Theology of the Body, is in the UK for the 'Our Bodies Proclaim The Gospel' conference.

Those gathered in Westminster for the event will discuss how the Church should respond to a society which is grappling with issues of sexuality and gender identity.

Speaking to Premier ahead of the event, Dr West said: "There will be no revival of the Church in the world without the renewal of Marriage and family life.
